Terms of Use

By downloading, accessing, or using PromptLab (the "App"), these terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the App. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting.

2. Premium Subscriptions & Billing

PromptLab offers auto-renewing Premium subscriptions to unlock advanced AI features, exclusive prompts, and an ad-free experience.

• Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at the confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store or Google Play Account Settings after purchase.
• Refund Policy: All refund requests are handled entirely by Apple and Google. We do not have the capability to issue refunds directly.
• Restore Purchases: You can restore your active subscriptions across your devices using the "Restore" feature in the app settings, provided you are logged into the same store account.

3. Anonymous Accounts & Data Retention

To prioritize your privacy, PromptLab utilizes Firebase Anonymous Authentication. This means we do not require your email or password. However, because your data is tied to your physical device:

• If you delete the app or switch devices, your locally saved prompts, history, and preferences may be irretrievably lost.
• Your Premium subscription remains secure and can be restored on a new device via the App Store or Google Play.

4. AI-Generated Content & Acceptable Use

PromptLab integrates advanced third-party AI APIs (including OpenAI's ChatGPT, Google's Gemini, and AI Image Generators) for text, audio, and image generation. By using these features, you agree to the following:

• Prohibited Content: You agree NOT to generate, request, or share content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, explicitly adult (NSFW), or infringes on third-party copyrights.
• Disclaimer of Accuracy: AI models may generate inaccurate, biased, or nonsensical outputs ("hallucinations"). We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated content.
• Third-Party Terms: Your use of AI features is also subject to the Terms of Service of our AI providers (OpenAI, Google, etc.).

5. Intellectual Property

The app's interface, design, logo, and curated categories are the exclusive property of North Plus Studio. You retain the rights to the specific prompts you generate for personal or commercial use, subject to the licensing terms of the respective AI platforms utilized.

6. Third-Party Services & Advertising

For users on the free tier, PromptLab is supported by advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the free version of the App, you agree to the display of these advertisements, which may use your device data to provide personalized ads.

7. Limitation of Liability

PromptLab is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. North Plus Studio makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the app's uninterrupted availability or the perfection of AI outputs. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
